After missing 2017 show, Mayowa Nicholas makes Victoria’s Secret debut

Mayowa Nicholas, Nigeria’s most famous model, has made her runway debut for Victoria’s Secret.
The model missed the 2017 edition in Shanghai, China, owing to visa issues.
Nicholas’ mother was in the audience on Thursday as she walked the runway for the prestigious fashion brand.
After the show, she wrote on Instagram: “Beyond thrilled for you guys to watch this show.
“Today was a moment to remember not only did I get to walk with the most beautiful and powerful women, but my one and only inspiration (my mom) got to watch me in the audience living this dream.
“To all the girls reading this, I hope you feel represented and know that your dreams are valid as long as you’re alive and ready to work hard in achieving them.”
The Nigerian model has walked the runway for Chanel, Fenty x Puma and Oscar de la Renta, among others.
Winnie Harlow, who had her VSF runway debut alongside Nicholas, made history as the first vitiligo model to partake in the show.
The Canadian supermodel, 24, walked the runway in a pink underwear set with feather detail and shimmery silver camisole.
She later made a second appearance wearing a floral cut-out catsuit over a matching balconette bra with yellow trim.
Swedish supermodel Elsa Hosk walked the runway in a $1 million Fantasy Bra consisting of more than 2,100 jewels.
Kendall Jenner, sisters Gigi and Bella Hadid, Adriana Lima, Candice Swanepoel, Martha Hunt, Stella Maxwell, Lais Ribeiro, Sara Sampaio, Cindy Bruna and Taylor Hill were some of the high-profile models who strutted the runway for Victoria’s Secret.
