YouNow is created for the everyday individual who seeks to gain a deeper understanding of Self in order to achieve their highest potential, while staying true to their essence. These write-ups are designed to help you become more conscious and deliberate in your interactions and day-to-day living.
“The only person you should strive to be better than is the person you were yesterday,” Matty Mullins.
Every single one of us has a vision of a better tomorrow.
A world where there is no recession, reduced crime rate, free education, better healthcare to name a few.
Seems a little farfetched? Maybe! Is it possible though? Definitely!
You reading this right now means you want more (not in a greedy way) and you know that you have the capacity for more.
You have your own hopes and aspirations and you are more than ready to create this life for yourself.
That is what drives us as humans. Our vision for a future where things are not necessarily easier but one where we are more than equipped with all we need to get through it.
The feeling of wanting more that often gnaws at us from the inside; that feeling of unrest until we actually discover what it is that we are looking for, is something very important.
This is just us trying to go through life fighting and kicking and coming out on the other side victorious.
Living your best life isn’t about living a life surrounded by all the best things in life, swimming in pools of money and driving gold plated cars. It is about living up to our potential.
We are more than able to live the life we want if we try.
You out there trying and struggling to be the best version of yourself, are only a few steps away from that sense of tranquility you’re desperately searching for.
Peace of mind and rest in our spirits that we have finally reached the heights we want.
And even then, we continue to raise the bar higher. Creating that dream life is a commitment to personal growth and development.
This is us saying to ourselves, “though I have attained this much, I can still do better”, without criticizing ourselves or pointing out our own flaws.
Instead embracing our successes and failures and trusting in our ability to be and do more.
Are your daily actions getting you closer to that place you want to be? If they aren’t, it’s time to consider doing things a different way.
Where do you see yourself being by the end of the year? Granted the year is almost over but “almost doesn’t count”.
Be sure to list out your dreams and aspirations. Then note how you plan to achieve them, all tools and resources needed.
Next, start working forward to it.
Keep pushing to finish strong. Don’t quit even when things seem a little difficult.
Keep your eyes on the stars and not on your feet even as you push ahead.
Create the life you desire now!
Remember Freedom is Peace; Optimism is Nature; Action is always within reach. BE MORE!
