How N200 notes led to harassment of females at Davido’s concert

A number of male and female concertgoers were engaged in a scuffle during Davido’s concert at Eko Atlantic, Victoria Island, Lagos, when wads of N200 notes were hurled at the audience.
Lil Kesh and Davido had flung N200 in the air to cheer up the crowd, following their late arrival at the concert.
However, the gesture turned to a sour experience as a number of female concertgoers were sexually harassed by their male counterparts during the tussle for the largesse.
Although security operatives extracted most of the females involved, a number of them lamented that they were touched inappropriately during the melee.
While the incident ensued, headliner of the concert, Davido, had to put the performance on hold and assisted in making peace between the involved parties.
His effort was not immediately successful as the persons involved initially remained unyielding.
Subsequently, Davido jokingly threatened to discontinue his concert if the intermittent fights persisted.
After the scuffle subsided, Davido rewarded an attendant who was said to have defended the females who were allegedly harassed.
The singer expressed his delight with the young man and rewarded him with one million naira.
The development led to a frenzied moment of euphoria which made the lucky young man fall to the ground and throw acrobatic feats in his overwhelmed and dazed state.
