According to TheCable, the seven-track LP comes after the 37-year-old vocalist held an exclusive listening party for her new release at the View Rooftop in Lekki, Lagos on June 15, 2019.
From Afro-fusion and Jazz to R&B, ‘In Her Feelings’ embodies tracks of multiple genres which include ‘For My Baby’, ‘Mr Sinnerman’, ‘Away’, ‘True Loving’, ‘Tabansi’ and ‘Green Grass’.

The LP, which opens with lead single dubbed ‘Without You’, sees Omawumi re-declaring sheer affection for her lover. She also addresses topical issues in the country’s socio-political space.
It also tackles a wide range of subjects; from encouraging fans through financial distress to warning about uncertainties lurking in the shadows.
“‘In Her Feelings’ represents a legacy which was inspired by family, relationships, domestic violence, and our society. I am deeply humbled to have my fans and close friends support me. I hope it contributes to the lives of everyone who listens to it.” Omowumi had said during the album’s pre-release listening party.
The talented songstress recently revealed why destructive criticisms from fans and observers no longer hurt her.
